Professional

Interact with highly qualified faculty who are specialists in their fields. They will assist you in relating theory to practice.

Christian Worldview

You are challenged to think critically and analytically about who God is — and who you are — as we equip you to fulfill your calling to glorify God and be a blessing to the world.

Personal

Classes consist of a small cohort group of your peers, and our caring faculty and staff that will help you each step of the way. The applied, practical curriculum, specifically designed for adult learners, emphasizes participation in discussions.

Affordable

Belhaven recognizes that cost is an important factor when evaluating a degree program and that's why we work hard to provide affordable and competitive prices. We’re pleased to offer a variety of discounts and special scholarships to assist you with your overall costs.

Convenient Program Format

Have to travel for two weeks? Rather work late at night? Are you stationed overseas? Our courses work well for students who have unpredictable schedules, travel, live internationally or would find weekly class meetings difficult to attend.

Belhaven Online allows you to study, learn, interact, and submit your assignments at the times that work best for your schedule. Your assignment deadlines will be clearly communicated in your syllabus at the beginning of each semester. You will be able to submit your assignments and receive feedback throughout the week, giving you the freedom to take your "classroom" wherever you go.

Belhaven Online: Program Types

Learn just the skills you need to move forward with one of our certificate programs. You can finish one of these short-term programs in significantly less time than a degree. (And the credits you earn will be there for a degree if you pursue one later.)

Earn the right-sized college degree for this phase of your journey. Start with our Associate of Arts degree—offered entirely online in easy-to-schedule, seven-week terms. It usually takes two years to complete. You might be able to shorten that with prior college credit or work experience.

This degree gives you a solid foundation in core college classes, all-taught with a Christian worldview. From this foundation, you will have stronger skills for work and life, and you can go on to a bachelor’s degree program.

Your bachelor’s degree opens the door to more advanced roles in many fields and to graduate work. A bachelor’s degree typically takes four years to complete. It’s the degree most people mean when they say “college degree.”

We offer three types of online bachelor’s degrees:

  • Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.)

Each is offered 100% online in easy-to-schedule seven-week terms. Prior college credit or work experience may help you complete this in less than four years.

Your master’s degree is an advanced (graduate) degree that you earn after you receive your bachelor’s (undergraduate) degree. You can complete most master’s degrees in two years or less.

Easy to schedule with our seven-week terms, your Belhaven master’s degree will challenge you to grow to your full potential. Belhaven awards these master’s degrees:

  • Master of Arts (M.A.)
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Master of Education (M.Ed.)
  • Master of Science (M.S.)

Fewer than 10% of adults 25 and older hold a master’s degree. Stand up and stand out by earning yours.

The Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Educational Leadership and Supervision (PK-12) fits right between a master’s and a doctorate. In fact, it counts as Phase I of Belhaven’s Ed.D.

This post-graduate degree typically takes a little more than a year to complete. It’s designed for active professional educators who already hold or seek leadership roles.

With the Ed.S. degree, you may receive higher compensation and consideration for administrative positions in educational settings.

The ultimate academic achievement: your doctorate. We offer two doctoral degrees:

These degrees are perfect for the highly motivated and intellectually curious. To complete one of these, you will write a dissertation. Your dissertation grows from a question or proposition you select. What you find as you investigate the question becomes the core of your dissertation.

Earning a doctoral degree sets you apart when being considered for higher compensation and administrative positions.
